This  was my first book by Kacey Shea and I have to say she's now on my insta one click list. 
I received a ARC in exchange for a honest review. .
This book is hot like fireman smoking hot! #itmustbetgepants If you like a book full of suspense this book is it. There is twists, family issues,  crazy hot fireman and sassy women.  You will laugh, cry, fan yourself and not want to set it down(I didn't) 
A strong independent woman Cassie, Chase the Fire Captain. Cassie has always loved fireman so when she bought her first house near the station it was a bonus. There is also Kiki the older neighbor who Cassie becomes friends with.  When everything in Cassie's life falls apart Kiki is there for her.  She helps pick up the piece along with her friends. 
This book is more then just a love story. It's about finding yourself again, the love of friends, heartache and yes there is a HEA.. but you'll have to get the book to find out. .
This book is a page turner. The twists and turns along the way suck you in, the love-  hate relationship with the characters. .
A Must Read!  5 smokin hot star!

Oh my word. This was the best book I have read in a very long time. So exciting and so hot. I love a man in a uniform. Ash is my fantasy. Just didn't want the book to end at all.
Man! I needed this book, desperately. Let's get real - I can only take so many books about Billionaires, down on their luck strippers, and InstaLove.
A fabulous story about a strong, unbroken woman. Callie has her problems but she is a girl you root for in life and love. All the fantastic sex and emotion you crave are woven into this intriguing story.
One of my Top 5 Romances of 2016.
Warning Will leave you hot and bothered!!

Fantastic to experience a blossoming writer. Kacey has done a fabulous job creating characters who you love and/or hate, relate to, find inspirational , or pitiful example of the human race.

Loved her style of writing and finding humor in life's happiest and saddest moments. If you are an incurable romantic, like a little unpredictability, sensuality that lends itself to reading in private then buy this book. I hated that the story came to an end and look forward to getting to know these characters and others in future book.
What a treat! First time I have read this author but it won't be my last. This book has it all. Suspense, drama, romance, and humor. So much goes on and lots of surprises. Callie is in love with firefighters. So much she buys a house close to the station so she can see them everyday. Chase catches her eye. And she goes in with both feet. They seem to be so good together. But things happen that Callie can't forget. You will be glad you took this journey with Callie and her friends. I hope to read more about her friends in future books.
I left a comment on Goodreads because hello this book was absolutely worth the 1 day read & staying up until 2am to finish! Callie & Chase what can I say but hot & erotic & destined for heartache. I had these highs & lows & highs & lows but ya know what how I got through them? Jill & Alicia & Kiki. They were the glue to this puzzle. Ash was the final piece though & boy was he the HEA I never pictured. I wanted so bad for Chase to come clean, no secrets but my heart knew I was grasping at straws b/c Tiff (Yuk!) was never far from the picture & even though I couldn't put 2 & 2 together I knew we were headed for something big. I loved the characters & how they all stood up & owned their mistakes & quirks & loved deeply when things got rough. When all I could see & feel was betrayal & heartache for really all of the characters there was always a hint of happiness with the words & I was rooting for Ash & Callie because Ash proved there is more to a person than what they can do in bed (according to Chase) & l now have a thing for big ears & green eyes. Starting the next book tonight & I hope its as delicious & full of love & wonder & nutty people as this book was!
I was really excited to read this newest book by Kacey Shea! I've really enjoyed her other books, and I was excited to see that she had a firefighter themed book (if you've seen any posts by Kacey you know she loves firemen!). I've always loved firemen as a hero in my books and love discovering new ones.
This book drew me in from the first page. You are so excited to see this new path of Callie's life. Her new house, her job, & her friends are part of what makes her life so exciting. It's also exciting to see that she gets to live so close to her ideal fantasy.
I love all the characters in the book. I think Kacey created such realistic and lovable people. Callie's friends & family were brilliant. I spent half the book wishing they were real so they could be my friends as well. I'm seriously hoping she continues with stories about some of these secondary characters.
Kacey did such a good job at making me feel a variety of emotions throughout the book, and I think that was one of the reasons I had a hard time putting the book down. I spent a great deal of the book laughing and giggling, and there were moments where I was just crushed along with Callie. I feel like the book moved you constantly and there wasn't any one moment where I just was so frustrated with it that I couldn't continue.
I will be telling everyone about this book for the foreseeable future. It was just so amazing and I'm so glad that Kacey wrote this one.
This is my first Kacey Shea book. AND IT WON'T BE MY LAST.

I love this book. You go through all the emotions with the characters. You'll laugh, cry, fall in love, maybe want to throw things and laugh some more. The characters are well written from the Hero to the old lady next door.

There are twist and turns through the book and you have to hold on for the ride. Make sure you have time to read because once you start you will not want to put down.

Incredibly written. I will definitely re-read and purchase more of Kacey's books.
